Premier Picks was envisioned as a free-to-play alternative to traditional sports betting, focusing on prediction skills and community engagement rather than gambling. The client sought to create a platform that would appeal to casual football fans and dedicated followers alike, offering various competition formats to suit different engagement levels.
Challenges
Developing a competitive prediction platform required solving multiple complex challenges. We needed to create multiple game modes with distinct rules and scoring systems, build real-time data integration for live match updates and statistics, implement robust social features including chat, contacts, and group management, ensure cross-platform consistency between iOS and Android, design a scalable architecture handling concurrent users during peak match times, and integrate secure payment processing for prize distributions.

Our Solution
We architected and developed a full-featured mobile platform with sophisticated backend infrastructure. The solution encompasses multiple game engines supporting four distinct prediction formats with automated progression and winner determination, a real-time data pipeline providing live lineups, substitutions, cards, injuries, and match statistics, a social infrastructure with friend connections, private messaging, game-specific chats, and custom group creation, a leaderboard system with global rankings and location-based local standings, Golden Game integration with secure winner verification and payment processing, and push notification systems for game updates, chat messages, and result announcements.
